2015-2016

2015, 2015, 2015. What a year! I'm not going to go into a deep review of the year because you can just read past posts haha. It was filled with my wonderful husband, my family, his family, my photography and clients. It was even busier than 2014, which is hard for me to believe haha... But it was a really good year for growth, especially the growth of my love for my husband, and for the growth of my business. A few months into 2015, I deeply questioned whether I wanted to do photography seriously. What it really came down to was, I was scared to fail. But also scared to succeed. It's weird I know. But guess who gave me the push and encouragement I need.... My husband of course! I firmly believe I would not be where I am without him and what he has helped me accomplish. (I'm so lucky he is a business management major haha). Speaking of that, CHANCE GRADUATED!!! I'm so proud of him! He has worked soooo hard and we are both so happy he is done haha, talk about getting my husband back. No more nights of homework!!

We had a blast on New Years Eve at my parent's house with lots of yummy snacks and scones, we went sledding in the backyard, where my parents made an impressive sledding track and when my dad fell off the sled he said "I need to say on the unit!" hahahah he cracks me up, sledding across the street, watching the Ball drop in New York (which was such a let down by the way... it cut to the news for like an hour and a half, and then cut back to the ball drop 30 min before midnight), played some uno (where I called uno, but didn't have uno so I had to draw more cards! hahahahaha) popped some poppers, and sipped some cider while making some toasts to the New Year, then Chance and I swiftly drove home to go to bed hahaha! (That was the longest run on sentence of all time haha).

New Years Day we went to Austin and Jessie's for a yummy brunch and some games, and then some bowling! I'm so bad at bowling, and every time we ever go we always play 2 games, and I'm always done after game 1 because I'm so bad hahaha. But it was fun to bowl and fun to be with family.

And now for 2016. No formal resolutions to state here... but we are looking forward to many fun and exciting things! Stay tuned :)

And so uncharacteristically of me.... I don't have a single photo to share of any of these festivities. Oh well!
