Ahh, All Hallows Eve! How I had been looking forward to this holiday! We started planning our Halloween costume months ago, and of course didn't end up putting it together until like 4 days before.... So when I tried to dye this pink dress black.... yeah it didn't work. It went a very light purple. Huge bummer, but it still worked out fine! We got some legit vampire teeth and I impressed myself with my makeup skills. We sprayed Chance's hair black (and he hated how stiff it was haha). I love that we have a holiday where dressing up is really encouraged. Oh and I discovered that I want to wear black lipstick all the time!? Haha. I also am happy that Chance tolerates my Halloween photo shoots. I mean, how could you not?! I think these turned out well.
We spent Halloween in Delta this year where we carved pumpkins (from Chance's mom's garden!), decorated halloween sugar cookies, ate chili, and watched Halloween movies (like Hocus Pocus, The Ghost and Mr Chicken, you know the fun ones... not scary movies ha). And our nephew was dressed as a baby horse. Our nephew COLT was a COLT for Halloween! Bahahaha I love it.

These are so much fun! It looks like you guys had a blast. I still haven't posted about our Halloween on my blog. But reading your post made me want to get it typed. Ha! I love seeing how creative people are when they make their own costumes! They always turn out way better than the typical store bought ones.
ReplyDeleteThanks Candace! You always leave the nicest comments! :)
DeleteThose costumes are the absolute coolest. I wish I was more brave and dressed up for Halloween more often because I always see all these awesome couples costumes and I just need to jump on that train next year haha. Anyway, you guys make fabulous vampires.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! You seriously have to dress up for halloween. It is SO fun. And you don't have to spend a lot of money either! honestly, we spent like $40 total on both of our costumes. The vampire teeth were the most expensive part.
DeleteThanks :)
